You can see where I am taking this thing don't you? I am starting a grad school alumni group. Do you think I should have a general telecomm group or a separate one for graduate school folks? This site was created by the guy who created Netscape! I think he learned his lesson about the paid model when he sold out to AOL after getting it handed to him by Microsoft. Netscape was a better browser, but Microsoft was close enough and it was free. I love Facebook, but it has some privacy issues and it is heavily tied to Microsoft. Hey, they have over a $100 million reasons lol! This site allows more control, and I can see them partnering heavily with Google, Apple and maybe even Yahoo which needs strategic partners to fend off the other 800 pound gorilla besides Google - Microsoft! When they make it easier to embed YouTube, podcasts, photos etcetera they will be a beast. However, this is our chance to bring everyone together on this site and on Facebook. I think we need to bring our Facebook contacts here to grow our network. What do you think we can do with this? I tried to brand this with some flexibility. What do you think?
