Now that is a question that was most revealing, even for myself. Initially my intention was to have all cast members of African descent. In having one of the Dance dramas performed at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2002 I discovered that the students of European descent of the Theatre, Dance and Music Departments, were much more enthusiastic and interested in the subject matter. And I was quite dismayed at the lack of the black students participation. And had to reach out to the Philadephia and Pittsburgh communities to find enough black participants. The white student actors, dancers designers and singers that participated were exceptional at their crafts and I contribute that to the institution's focus on Western Theatre concepts which has little if any regard for the African American Theatre's contribution. Therefore the African American students were lacking in their respective crafts, because they didn't get enough work to exercise those muscles.

Everyone has a purpose in life, and it is one of our goals to find out what that purpose is. Once we find our purpose, we must pursue it as life itself. Paris
